What we do  /  SEE YOUR NUMBERS

Close · Cash · Reporting

Numbers you can steer by.

A monthly close that lands on a fixed day, one dashboard with the numbers you actually steer by, cash seen 13 weeks ahead, and reporting your bank and your board can trust. Built in your systems, run by your team.

When it matters

When this door is the right call

01When you fly blind

The business moved on, the numbers did not. You find out in March how December went. The close we build lands on a fixed day, every month.

02When the bank asks

A simple question takes a week of spreadsheet work. We write the reporting in the language your bank and your board expect, off one set of numbers.

03When cash arrives as a surprise

Cash put on a 13-week view, updated weekly, with collections and payment runs planned. Surprises stop being surprises.

04When there is no CFO yet

CFO discipline without the CFO salary: the routine designed, documented and handed to your own people to run.

Is it the right fit?

Where this door fits, and where it does not

Best for

  • An owner-run company whose business has outgrown its finance routine
  • A scale-up between funding rounds that needs investor-grade numbers
  • A PE-backed business that needs board-grade reporting now
  • A bank relationship that depends on reporting arriving on time
  • A finance team of one or two that needs senior hands beside it

Not for

  • Bookkeeping, payroll or tax filings (your accountant keeps those)
  • An audit, or a formal assurance opinion
  • A thicker report nobody will steer by
  • Replacing your finance team instead of building it
What we build

A finance routine your team owns

Monthly close

A close that lands on a fixed day, every month: checklist, owners and deadlines, built with your team, in your systems.

One dashboard

The numbers you steer by on one page: revenue, margin, cash and the drivers behind them. Board reporting and bank-ready reporting come off the same page.

13-week cash view

Cash seen 13 weeks ahead, updated weekly, with collections and payment runs planned instead of improvised.

The commercial side, attached

Every number arrives with its commercial consequence attached: pricing, terms and the customers behind the margin, the same week.

What it costs

Scoped in writing, before we start

 The first step

Every engagement starts with The 10-Day Diagnostic: a fixed fee, agreed in writing, delivered in 10 working days. You keep the report, whatever you decide next.

 The engagement

Scope and fees for this door are fixed in writing after the diagnostic, before the work starts. If the scope changes, the price changes in writing first.

 The commitment

No day rates, no open meters, no surprises in month three. Both partners on the engagement, and a handover at the end: documented, trained, yours.

How it works

From the first call to a close that lands

01

A free 30-minute conversation about where the numbers hurt. Not a pitch.

02

The 10-Day Diagnostic: where the cash leaks, which number to fix first, a plan in writing.

03

We build with your people: close, dashboard, cash view, reporting cadence.

04

Hand over: documented, trained, yours. Then we leave.

Ask us for references: two named clients, offered in the first meeting.

Common questions

The questions owners ask first

Do you replace our accountant?

No. Bookkeeping, payroll and filings stay where they are. We build the layer above them: the close, the dashboard, the cash view and the discipline that keeps them landing on time, every month.

Do we need new software?

Usually not. We build in the tools you already run and only recommend a change when the current tool is the real problem. Your data stays in your systems; nothing lives in our drawer.

What happens when you leave?

Your team runs the routine, because it was built with them from the first week: documented, trained, theirs. We make ourselves unnecessary on purpose, and we are a phone call away if the business changes shape.
